Stunning spacious seclusion
Driving up the track to the house you wouldn't even know it was there. Completely secluded in a private acre of its own land, with the protection of adjoining School Wood, The Schoolhouse offers an idyllic sanctuary on the doorstep of North Norfolk’s stunning coastline, and yet is only three miles from Blakeney.
This beautiful bolt hole, ideal for a couple, is a mixture of contemporary modern and country chic. With an open plan living room furnished with a huge squashy sofa (to move in on) and a genuine colonial deckchair you can totally unwind and completely relax in front of a blazing log fire (we've recently stocked up our woodshed with a big delivery of logs and coal).
Our mod cons from our recent kitchen upgrade include a dishwasher and brand new oven and hob. The bathroom has a new 'telephone' style powerful handheld shower unit and the bedroom and main schoolroom have benefited from new furnishings including a 'dreamy' bed, new lights and new blinds everywhere. For 2008 we have given a new lick of paint to the whole of the bedroom and a general paint spruce up throughout the house.
The garden has benches to enjoy the scenery and wildlife, as well as deckchairs to laze those summer days away or you can just lie out on the blankets and cushions that are provided.
For those that still need to be connected to the modern world, we have BT Broadband, however as we are located quite far from the exchange, we get a rather intermittent signal, but when it works it's nice to be connnected!
